Who is Simon Cowell? Simon Phillip Cowell is an English tv personality, entrepreneur and record executive. He was born on 7 October 1959. He is the creator of The X Factor and Got Talent franchises which have been sold around the world. Simon has judged on the British television talent competition series Pop Idol (2001–2003), The X Factor UK (2004–2010, 2014–2018) and Britain’s Got Talent (2007–present), and the American tv talent competition series American Idol (2002–2010), The X Factor US (2011–2013), and America’s Got Talent (2006–present).

Simon Cowell’ Facebook page attracted nearly one million of ‘likes’. Those who read the ‘About’ page were given a believable account of the British television host’s passing: “At about 11 a.m. ET on Friday (February 17, 2023), our beloved television host Simon Cowell passed away. Simon Cowell was born on October 7, 1959 in London. He will be missed but not forgotten. Please show your sympathy and condolences by commenting on and liking this page.” Hundreds of fans immediately started writing their messages of condolence on the Facebook page, expressing their sadness that the talented 63-year-old television host was dead. Where as some trusting fans believed the post, others were immediately skeptical of the report, perhaps learning their lesson from the huge amount of fake death reports emerging about celebrities over recent months. Some pointed out that the news had not been carried on any major British network, indicating that it was a fake report, as the death of a television host of Simon Cowell’s stature would be major news across networks. A recent poll conducted for the Celebrity Post shows that a large majority (75%) of respondents think those Simon Cowell death rumors are not funny anymore. Simon Cowell Death Hoax Dismissed Since Television host Is ‘Alive And Well’ On Saturday (February 18) the television host’s reps officially confirmed that Simon Cowell is not dead. “He joins the long list of celebrities who have been victimized by this hoax. He’s still alive and well, stop believing what you see on the Internet,” they said. Some fans have expressed anger at the fake report saying it was reckless, distressing and hurtful to fans of the much loved television host. Others say this shows his extreme popularity across the globe.
